GPS Huawei

Having trouble with your location?

If you have a Huawei and your answer is yes, please read below.

Huawei devices are not compatible with the Google GPS system that the application uses. For this reason, some issues may arise when saving the location to clock in.

Huawei users should select the Allow all the time and Enable HMS Core option.

Settings > Apps > select Kronio

Click on Permissions > Location > Allow All the Time/Allow only while in use

Close the app and reopen it

All Huawei/Honor phones and tablets support HMS Core, except those running versions earlier than EMUI 3.

You need to enable the HMS Core Location option.

Settings > Privacy > Location Access > Location Services.

Is this option not available on your device? Download HMS Core from this link

Update HMS Core

For Huawei with Android 8

Huawei devices have a battery optimization system in addition to their operating system (Android), which can cause the location app to close and stop reporting its location. We have found a configuration within the devices that needs to be adjusted to prevent these issues.

Go to Device Settings and enter Apps & notifications

Go to Apps

Search for Inalambrik Locator and tap on it

Go to the Battery option

- Turn off High Energy Consumption Notification

If your employees have Huawei devices, they can contact us directly to receive the instructions to follow.
